Destiny or Free Will: Remembering the Future

The law of attraction, positive thinking, visualizing the future you desire… sound familiar?
Many people want to believe they can “create their future” like it’s a blank sheet where dreams are written with golden ink and epic music playing in the background.

But what if it’s not that poetic?

What if your future isn’t something new, but an old acquaintance you keep avoiding?

When you truly look, it’s not destiny that scares us, but the memory of a past still waiting to be resolved.

Your “future” isn’t something you’re creating… it’s something you already know—and are trying to dodge.

And that thing we call intuition? Far too often, it’s just memory in disguise.

Our future, in truth, looks more like déjà vu dressed up as planning.

It’s not that you’re bad at projecting your thoughts forward—
It’s that you’re still remembering backward.
It’s like driving while staring into the rearview mirror and wondering why you keep veering off the road.

Yes, what you’re afraid might happen is really just something that already did—
and you haven’t yet accepted it.

That so-called anxiety about the future is really just your past sneaking in through the back door of the unconscious, whispering:
“Hey, remember me, survivor? You still haven’t healed me.”

Think about it for a moment:
That fear of being abandoned in a future relationship.
That feeling that no matter how hard you try, you’ll fail again.
Those aren’t premonitions.
That’s your wounded survivor warning you of danger. Because the thinking mind, designed to predict and protect, connects with memory to anticipate and prevent possible futures.

You can learn the full alphabet of affirmations, visions, and decrees…
but behind every “I deserve abundance,” there’s often a hidden emotional file saying:
“The last time you tried, it didn’t go well.”

And that—no matter how beautifully you dress it up as a future—is still unintegrated past.

On some level, we know we’re not running from the unknown.
We’re running from what we’ve already lived.
Only now, it has a new face, a different situation, and we call it by another name.

But when we refuse to look at the old, life just paints it again.
We call it a “vision,” a “life plan,” or a “soul path,”
when really, it’s the same loop with a fresh look.

So the next time you say, “I’m afraid of what’s going to happen…”,
ask yourself honestly: What does this remind me of?

Because the future isn’t always what’s coming…
Sometimes it’s what you didn’t dare to face when it already happened.

And if you dare to remember and face it without fear…
that’s when you truly begin creating a world of infinite possibilities.

And since you’ve read all the way to the end… here’s your reward:
